Gorkha Boys Still Looking a Promising Team

2008 Cup winners (Gorkha Boys Football Club) off with a winning start for this season.

GBFC who were the Gorkha Shield winners for the 2008 season have kicked started the 2009 season with a 1-0 win against The Recreational Club. The team captain Bijen Bataju informed kgarira.com that initially their team moral was not at 100%. This win against the much talked about team for this season, The Recreational Club has certainly provided them with much needed moral booster to get into the tournament.

In other games, Himalayan Youth Club(HYC) defeated Granville Rhinos Football Club 2-1 and Sagarmatha Football Club defeated Hurstville United Football Club 2-0

Dawa Lama (Laliguras FC - 17) scores a hattrick for his team.

Today the first game was played between Club Nepal Vs Nepalese Thunder in which Nepalese Thunder defeated Club Nepal by 2 - 1.

The second game was played between Laliguras FC Vs Friends United in which Laliguras FC deafeated Friends United by 6 - 2. Laliguras FC proved too strong for their opponent who although scored the opening goal of the match, Laliguras FC came back with a rain of goals on Friends United. Already looking like a strong team, Laliguras FC surely looks like they will create a lot of excitement this season with one of their leading goal scorer "Dawa Lama" scoring a hattrick for the club's first game this season.

The Nepalese Basketball tournament's final match was played today between Myagdi A and N-23. After weeks of build up of the game, today the final game managed to draw a large crowd of spectators to witness two of the best teams on court.

Im sitting here at work and there isnt much happening and its almost time for another post.. So S suggested i do a post on the Planet Cake Class that we went to last week. Not sure if many people know of planet cake but if you watch Masterchef im sure you will.
