Sydney resident Nepalese Royal accused of rape

A Nepalese individual working as a delivery driver for an Indian restaurant has been accused of raping a 44yrs old householder living in Eastern Suburb, as heard by the court yesterday.
Amit Hamal, 21, from Sydney NSW, was yesterday accused of having ***ual intercourse without consent with a 44yrs old woman while he was delivering her meal at the victim's Rosebay home on July 16.
Hamal was arrested by Australian Federal Police(AFP) at Sydney International Airport as he tried to board a one way flight to Bangkok.
Police claimed that Mr. Hamal after arriving at the victim's house at 11 pm found the front door open. He tried to wake the husband up but was unsuccessful. He then walked into the bedroom and ***ually ***aulted the woman. The woman at that time ***umed that it was her husband she was having *** with. She only realised later when Mr. Hamal left through the front door and found her husband still asleep in the lounge.
Mr. Hamal claims she eventually stirred before taking off some clothing and having consensual *** with him.
His laywer said that Mr.Hamal, who is married, later called the woman and returned back to her house with his wife to apologise as he was feeling guilty.
Mr. Hamal was refused bail and will appear in Central Local Court on July 29.
