‘Miss Nepal Australia 2008’ Miss Sanam Dongol visited Nepal in March 2009 as a Goodwill Ambassador for a charity project organized by Party Kathmandu Events Pty Ltd in conjunction with T-Help (Tran Himalayan Environment & Livelihood Program) to provide vermi-composting training for women’s in Karvesthali VDC, Kathmandu NEPAL.

The training was held on 3rd of March 2009 to promote organic farming. Despite being a part of metropolitan city, Karvesthali VDC is a complete rural area where people made their living by agriculture but still lack knowledge on using correct insecticide and pesticide for farming, as a result farmers were unable to produce a good quality product which directly affecting their income. Miss Sanam Dongol donated Rs 50,000.00 to the T-Help on the behalf of Party Kathmandu Events to sustain the project. Local television channels like ABC and Avenues were there for the coverage.
