"Jheepucha" organised a meeting to discuss the celebrations of the upcoming "Mha Puja". The event was held at Ashfield park. Despite the rain, the presence of attendents were satisfactory. Everyone was invited to attend the event which was enhanced by delicious Nepali/Newari dishes and BBQ.

Mr.Mahendra Shrestha was the MC of the event. Respectable members of society contributed their valuable time and speech. Speakers like Dr.Narayan Pradhan, Mr. Shree Napit, Niraj Shrestha, Ashok Shrestha, Padam Shakya and Neelam Pradhanang expressed their point of view to preserve Newari culture. Neelam Pradhanang, a Phd student who is studying about "Guthi", amazed her devotion and respect towards Newari culture and t***tion. It is something that Newar community should be proud of.

Jheepucha has organised various events in the past years. T***tional events like Mha Puja, Sithi Nakha, has been successfully celebrated by this organisation. They also organise BBQ parties from time to time to for social gathering and to discuss about how to preserve the culture and sustain a strong society.

Next event on the pipeline for Jheepucha is Mha Puja and Nepal Sambat which will be held a day before Bhai Tika around end of October or begining or November 09.
