The Nepalese Basketball tournament's final match was played today between Myagdi A and N-23. After weeks of  build up of the game, today the final game managed to draw a large crowd of spectators to witness two of the best teams on court.

The final game itself was very exciting and Myagdi team took the lead early on in the game. Sajal Sahi, from Myagdi boys put up a very energitic and skilfull game. It was very exciting to watch him in action. N-23 put up a good chase to overtake the lead but Myadgi still proved to be the stronger side all the way through.

The final whistle saw the result as, Myagdi (52) - N-23 (38).

In the Women's Volleyball final, Myagdi team (wearing green) beat Jesus Family Centre (wearing red) to secure the cup.

The Man of the Match award was given to Sajal Sahi from Myagdi team and the title of Most Valuable Player for the season was given to Shashanka Rajkarnikar of the Gorkha Boys team.

The winning team received a check of $1000. The second place winners received a cheque of $500 and the third place winners(South Siders) won a cheque of $250.

All credits goes out to Myagdi Sewa Samiti who put in all the effort to successfully host this event and also to all the sponsors, and participants.
