NCAA’s Pre Season Presentation
NCAA has kicked off its official Cricketing season with dynamic Pre Season Presentation on Saturday 20.08.11 staged at Homebush in Sydney. With ambiance of togetherness and astounding community involvement, NCAA has organised this event to brief guests about its programmes and progress. The event has also revealed the NCAA’s future plans.
NCAA is a non profit organisation established to develop and promote Cricket in Community. Over the years, it has organised several cricket tournaments. To bring out the best in young cricketers, NCAA has also organised cricket awareness event during NRN Day 2010. 
The program was decorated with many well known personalities of Nepalese Community in Australia. In the long list of attendees, Honourable Consulate General Deepak Khadka, Bhawani Oli, Shamser Thapa,Pradip Dhakal, Goba Katuwal, Bishnu Hamal, Prakash J. Thapa and Dhruba Subedi were just few. The event also saw heavy presence of media with notable inclusion of The Nepali Times’ Publisher Mr. Mahendra Lamsal and Himalayan FM Radio programmer Mr. Bharat Raj Paudel.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Honourable Consulate General Deepak Khadka praised NCAA’s effort to organise cricket event to unite the community tighter. He also believed that the progress will illuminate the path for much brighter future of cricketing community.
Mr. Bhawani Oli talked about the power of youth generation and said anything is achievable through collaborative way. He has wished every success for NCAA’s events.
Similarly, NRN’s ex President Mr Dhruba Subedi showed his delights for community programs and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity.
With a humble beginning four years ago, NCAA has become a common name among the cricket enthusiasts. This year NCAA’s Cricket Tournament is planned to begin in November starting with Super Sixes Event. Over 100 players are, so far, in the mix. Similar to earlier season, the event will include its popular one day version of the games.
For every Nepalese’s enchantment, Nepal U-19 Cricket Team has been selected to play in U-19 World Cup Cricket. NCAA will be organising a Charity Dinner Function for Nepal’s Under 19 world Cup Cricket Team during their visit to Australia.
